My goal is to guide you, teach you, and provide you with tools to adopt healthy eating habits that last over time and allow you to lose weight without anxiety, without effort, and by learning to eat properly, achieving your own autonomy.
My experience with patients has led me to understand that there are two very important factors when it comes to weight loss: anxiety and slow metabolism.
Regarding anxiety, the time it takes to solve the problem at its root depends on its severity. With anxiety, it is very difficult to maintain consistency because it leads to constant ups and downs, resulting in binge eating. When you stress yourself, you also stress your body, altering and unbalancing it. In this situation, you exhaust your compensation mechanisms over time. This leads to maximum wear and inevitably creates imbalances in your body, affecting your metabolism.
The thyroid gland regulates metabolism. What does this mean? It controls and regulates all body functions. Imagine the consequences after many years of high pressure: over time and with age, there is wear and constant overstimulation. Our metabolism starts to work slowly, resulting in poor transformation, burning, elimination, and assimilation.
The consequence of stress and anxiety negatively impacts our metabolism. It starts to work slowly, fails to transform food into energy properly, does not assimilate nutrients well, does not burn or eliminate correctly. This leads to nutritional imbalances, metabolic dysfunctions, obesity, immunity issues, physiological problems like fluid retention, constipation, lymphatic problems, taurine energy difficulties with fatigue, low mood, mood swings, hormonal problems, etc. This means that if this is your case, you probably need the help of a professional to assist you in your weight loss process.
